Preventative medicine: Research has shown that preventing a disease, or treating a condition before it becomes a problem, will dramatically improve the quality of a pet's life and lengthen time we spend with them.

Annual Examinations: Not just taking the temperature and giving shots! Our pets will age much faster than we do, so it is important that they have a comprehensive physical examination at least once a year.

Geriatric care: Old age is not a disease, and many of the signs we attribute to aging can actually be treated or prevented!

Laboratory diagnostics: From routine blood work and fecal exams, to complicated biopsy interpretation, we have the tools to make sure we can measure the health of your pet with complete accuracy.

Internal Medicine: Even with proper preventative medicine, our pets can get sick. We have the tools and knowledge to diagnose, treat, and manage even the most complicated medical issues. Diabetes, thyroid disorders, and cancer are but a few of along list of complicated medical cases we are prepared to treat.

General surgery: Experience and skill are the biggest factors in the success of any surgical procedure. We use the safest anesthesia available, and patients are monitored closely throughout their procedure (there is no such thing as a "routine" surgery). Pain management begins before surgery even starts, and is tailored to each individual patient, making certain they are as comfortable and safe as possible.

Dentistry: Not just a cosmetic consideration! The health of our pets mouths are directly related to their overall health. Many liver, kidney, and heart problems can be prevented with proper oral hygiene.

Ultrasound: This completely non-invasive technology allows the veterinarian to "see" internal organs with great accuracy. Thanks to the internet and a network of board-certified radiologists throughout the country, most ultrasound studies can be viewed by a specialist within 2 hours of submission.

Digital Radiology: The days of using film and developing chemicals are quickly passing, allowing a greener, safer, and more accurate digital technology to move in. Digital radiographs (like your digital camera) do not rely on harsh heavy-metal laden chemicals for developing (better for the environment), and use sensors much more sensitive than conventional film plates. Images can be quickly burned to a CD and taken to a specialist (or taken home to view on your own computer), or transmitted electronically to specialists around the world. Films can be viewed by a specialist and interpreted within a couple hours (conventional films often take 24 hours or longer to make it to a radiologist for interpretation).
